These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern passenger carriage services (“Services”) provided by Get Chauffeur Service Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client named in a booking or enquiry (“you”, “the Client”). By requesting, confirming or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. Any terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
A booking is confirmed when you receive our written confirmation (email or portal) and, where required, payment details are provided.
You are responsible for the accuracy of journey details (dates, times, addresses, passenger count, luggage).
Corporate accounts may be subject to additional account terms agreed in writing.
Pricing & Payment
Quoted prices are based on the information supplied. Deviations (extra stops, route changes, overruns) may incur additional charges.
Unless otherwise stated, prices are exclusive of VAT.
Payments are accepted by major debit/credit cards (including Amex) and BACS. Invoices are due on receipt unless otherwise agreed.
Fixed-price transfers include reasonable direct routes. Toll/parking/standby fees may be chargeable where applicable.
Waiting Time
Waiting time allowances and rates are stated on your booking confirmation. If a passenger or party is not ready within the allowance, waiting is charged per commenced period at the confirmed rate.
Routes, Speed & Passenger Conduct
Unless instructed at booking, the chauffeur will use the most appropriate route on the day.
Our chauffeurs drive safely and within legal speed limits, adjusting to conditions and traffic.
We will not carry more passengers than legally permitted for the vehicle booked.
Changes, Extra Mileage & Overruns
Additional mileage, waiting, unplanned stops or diversions requested during the hire may be accepted at the chauffeur’s discretion (subject to schedule) and will be chargeable per our pricing structure.
Please advise of flight/train delays as early as possible; we will accommodate where feasible (additional charges may apply).
Vehicles, Availability & Subcontractors
We may provide an equivalent or upgraded vehicle if the booked vehicle becomes unavailable (e.g., breakdown, incident).
We may use trusted, fully-licensed professional partners to fulfil bookings to our standard.
All vehicles carry appropriate passenger and third-party insurance; client property is carried at owner’s risk.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Standard transfers: cancel ≥72 hours before the pickup time for a full refund. Inside 72 hours, the full fare may be payable.
Hourly/day hire & events: bespoke cancellation terms may apply (see your confirmation).
No-show: if passengers fail to present within the waiting allowance and cannot be reached, the job is chargeable in full plus any incurred costs.
Damage, Cleaning & Loss
Clients are responsible for any damage they or their party cause to a vehicle. Repair/valeting costs to restore the vehicle to serviceable condition will be chargeable.
We are not liable for loss or damage to personal property left in vehicles. Please check before exiting.
Safety, Conduct & Prohibited Items
We operate a strict no-smoking policy in all vehicles.
Chauffeurs may refuse carriage to anyone under the influence of alcohol/drugs or whose behaviour poses a risk to safety, the vehicle or other passengers.
Seatbelts must be worn where fitted. Child seats should be provided by the Client unless otherwise agreed in advance.
No hazardous, illegal or excessively soiled items are permitted.
Delays, Force Majeure & Liability
We make all reasonable efforts to be punctual but accept no liability for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to traffic, accidents, breakdowns, adverse weather, police or security incidents).
Our total liability for proven direct loss is limited to the amount paid (or payable) for the affected Service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., missed flights, connections, accommodation or business losses).
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
